Mulagandha Kuty Vihara celebrates 79th anniversary

There will be an exposition of the sacred relics of the Buddha at the Mulagandha Kuty Vihara, Isipatana Deer Park, Saranath, Varanasi, India on November 21 and 22 to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the Viharaya.

A public meeting on November 21 presided over by Nagaland University Vice Chancellor Prof K Kannan. Sri Lankan High Commissioner in India Prasad Kariyawasam will deliver the keynote address.

The chief guest will be Indian Tourism, Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation Minister Kumari Selja.

Mulagandha Kuty Vihara was constructed in 1931 by Buddhist revivalist Anagarika Dharmapala.
