Chile’s 1973 military coup anniversary:
Over 13 injured, 251 detained
Thirteen people were injured in protests across
Chile on the 37th anniversary of a military coup in the country,
official sources said here Sunday. Another 251 Chilean people,
including 59 minors, were detained when they clashed with police
Saturday night and early Sunday, according to the Carabineros,
Chile’s military police.
