Heroin racket busted
The Gampola Police anti-vice squad busted a
racket involving the distribution of heroin in the Gampola
plantation area when they raided an abandoned house in Thuduwala,
Unambuwa, Gampola and arrested eight suspects including its king-pin
a 60-year woman nicknamed Kudu Siththi along with 48 packets of
heroin yesterday morning.
