European film feast in Myanmar

MYANMAR: An European film festival will be launched in Myanmar's commercial city of Yangon in late November, according to the local Biweekly Eleven News Friday.

The 10-day film festival, which is the 19th of its kind, will last from Nov.20 to 29. British, Italian, French and German films will be screened during the film festival, organized by the Italian Embassy.

Two films will be on the screen by each European country, an official of the Italian embassy said.

Last year, the European film festival was organized by the French embassy and took place at the Nay Pyi Taw Cinema.

A number of famous films with English subtitles from these counties were screened. Gon, Friday, Xinhua
