Quarter-finalists found in boys under 19 singles

The quarter finalists were found in the boys under 19 singles category at the Junior National Badminton Championship conducted by the Sri Lanka Schools Badminton Association at the SLBA Indoor Courts at Maitland Place yesterday.

Under 19 boys singles. Pre-quarter finals.

M.Chinthaka (Devananda, Ambalangoda) beat Shanon Fernando (St. Peter’s) 7-21, 21-19, 18-21. Sahan Ratnayake (Ananda) beat Piyumal Somathileka (Royal) 11-21, 13-21. I.U. Gurusinghe (Dharmaraja) beat Didula Sahabandu (St. Joseph’s) 16-21, 21-12, 2-0, W/O. Chinthaka Minimuthu (Alethia Int.) beat Marlon Fernando (St. Joseph’s) 21-5, 21-5. Shamika Nugaliadda (St. Anthony’s(K)) beat Lahiru Madusanka (Dharmasoka) 21-16, 21-12. Dixon Lionsmith (DSSC) beat Pasindu Wickrematileka (Kegalu MV) 15-21, 4-21), M.S. Ranasinghe (S. Thomas’) beat Dulshan Gunaratne (Nalanda) 21-13, 21-14. Rakitha Perera (Ananda) beat N.A. Gunatileka (Royal) 21-13, 21-12.
