Helicopter transport from Ratmalana to BIA

The Air Force has made arrangements to transport passengers from Ratmalana to Katunayake Airport and vice-versa, for a nominal fee, using several of their helicopters.

Group captain Janaka Nanayakkara said that the Air Force has made available both four seater and 14 seater helicopters for this purpose, considering the prevailing adverse weather conditions restricting land based travel for passengers.

The helicopters are available for a group of people and has to be reserved in advance.
