Aussies White wash the Lankans
Secure thumping 81-run victory:
Australia followed up a rescue act from Cameron
White with a polished performance in the field during a thumping
81-run victory over Sri Lanka in the World Twenty20 on Sunday.
Chasing 169 for victory, Sri Lanka were dismissed for 87 as
Australia won with more than three overs to spare at the Kensington
Oval.

Asian giants fight for honours
Asian giants, India and Sri Lanka clash in the
penultimate match of the Super 8 stage of the ICC World T20 at St.
Lucia. Both teams are still in with a chance of making it to the
semis and hence neither will have the luxury of being complacent.
India has to win handsomely to entertain any hopes of going through
and then pray that Australia beat the West Indies later in the day.
A big victory for the Lankans, however, will put the West Indies
under pressure and they will have to topple the mighty Aussies to
claim a place in the semis.
