Several WPC members to Parliament
Several WPC members were elected to Parliament
at the General Election held on April 8. They are Biyagama SLFP
Chief Organiser Dulip Wijesekera obtaining 51,469 votes and Ruwan
Wijewardena who came first in the UNP list from Gampaha District
obtaining 88,850 votes. He is also the Chief UNP organiser for
Biyagama electorate.
