Former TNA MP promises to work with President

District United People’s Freedom Alliance candidate at the Parliamentary
Elections K. Thangeswari said she will work with President Mahinda
Rajapaksa to fulfill the urgent needs of the people. She said the people
of Paduwankarai and other areas had been neglected for 30 years.

Thangeswari said Tamils had been suffering for 30 years and she
decided to support the Government to satisfy their immediate needs with
the President’s assistance.
She added that she did not want to waste time by speaking of
nationalism and politics. The former parliamentarian said politicians
should fulfill the people’s immediate needs. |
