Radhika will play for Kandy SC

Sri Lanka full back Radhika Hettiarachchi will turn out for the champion Kandy Sports Club this year.

He played a key role in Kandy Sports Club's success last year.

He was a tower of strength in the last line of defence with his safe collections and booming kicks to touch also often joining the line to form the overlap and should be a source of inspiration to his team-mates this year too.

He captained the Hill Capital club in 2004 and has been a regular member of the Sri Lanka team since 1998.

In an article titled Achala and Kasun join Kandy SC in the Daily News of February 22, 2010 we inadvertently stated that the only member missing from the champion Kandy SC outfit this year is Radhika Hettiarachchi who is likely to turn out for Navy this year. We regret the error.
