For the first time in the country’s history, Sri Lanka is going to achieve economic independence using its geographical location under the economic policy of Mahinda Chintana – Vision for the future. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has, on January 11, graduated Sri Lanka from the list of Poverty Reduction and Growth Trust (PRGT) eligible countries.
