will never betray the Security Forces and is ready to face any
accusation on behalf of the Security Forces that made tremendous
sacrifices for the nation. The President was addressing

Opposition candidate Sarath Fonseka was
quoted by a Sunday newspaper as making a statement betraying the
country and the Armed Forces. He had referred to some incidents that
he said had happened during the military operations against the
