President orders removal of his posters

Inspector General of Police Mahinda Balasuriya yesterday said President Mahinda Rajapaksa setting an example instructed him to remove all his posters, banners and cutouts displayed in the Colombo city and islandwide before the nominations date to ensure that election laws were complied with. He was speaking at the Media Centre for National Security yesterday.
