EPF back at labour secretariat

The Labour Relations and Manpower Ministry in a press release said that the unit which handles the EPF benefit payments has been shifted to a limited location at the Labour Secretariat, Narahenpita.

In view of this, the Labour Department requests the public to handover their applications for EPF benefits to the district labour office as far as possible. However, applications from Sri Lankans living abroad, on medical grounds and also from the nearest kin of a deceased member will continue to be entertained at the Head Office, the press release added.
