Silver medallist at the 63rd World Body Building championship Prasanna Peiris will give an exhibition posing at the 55th Sri Lanka Body Building Championship 2009 organized by the Sri Lanka Body Building and Fitness Federation which will be worked off at the Trinity College Hall in Kandy today from 4.00 p.m.

A total of ten events will be worked off culminating with the Junior Champion under 21 and the grand finale the Champion of Champion. The day's program will also see a mixture of musical items, western and Kandyan dances by leading artistes.

The events lined up for the day are in the body weights of under 55 kg, under 60 kg, under 65 kg, under 70 kg, under 75 kg, under 80 kg, under 85 kg, under 90 kg, under 95 kg and over. The last two events will be the Junior Championship (under 21) and the Champion of Champion contests.

Minister of Sports and Public Recreation Gamini Lokuge will be the Chief Guest.

It is going to be all flesh and muscles at the Trinity College Hall today and will no doubt give a tremendous boost to building in the district.
