'Business opportunities in North, East today':

ICCSL seminar

The International Chamber of Commerce (ICCSL) has organized a series of seminars on "Business opportunities in the North and the East" and the second seminar was held recently at the BMICH.

The guest speakers were, ICC Sri Lanka Chairman Tissa Jayaweera, Constitutional Affairs and National Integration Minister Vinayagamurthi Muralitharan, Government Peace Secretariat, Former Director Economic Affairs - Rohantha Athukorala, Northern Province Governor- Major General G.A. Chandrasiri and Central Bank Assistant Governor Dr. P.N. Weerasinghe.

They shared information on area situation, constitutional arrangements, current developments and business opportunities in the North and East today with the participants.

The country's economic situation was stressed upon, creating a conducive environment for the business community with the idea of obtaining their contribution for the development of the North and East.
