LTTE intelligence member arrested

An LTTE intelligence operative was arrested by the Western Province Intelligence Unit in Eluththoor, Mannar on Tuesday night.

The LTTE Intelligence operative to the Mannar area know as Shiva was arrested by the WP Intelligence Unit in Eluththoor acting on information provided by an LTTE cadre under police custody, Police said.

The suspect had joined the LTTE Intelligence wing in 2004, since then he was involved in the LTTE Intelligence activities.
