PSC circulars has no effect

The Cabinet has decided not to implement two sections of the Gazette Notification by the Public Services Commission (PSC) which led to controversy. Since Provincial Councils Elections are round the corner, politicians have started to use the Gazette Notification issued by the PSC to create a hypothetical fear in the public mind using very creative slogans. It is a storm in a tea cup, Enterprise Development and Investment Promotion Minister Dr. Sarath Amunugama said.
