New parapet wall around Bo tree

A new parapet wall round the Bo tree of the "Shestrarama Viharaya' at Pothuwatawana Kahatawila in the Wennappuwa electorate will be erected with funds collected by the Dayakas of the Viharaya and philanthropists of the area and its suburb.

This wall will be erected and Atavisi Buddha statues would be placed round the Bo tree. Foundation stones for the sheds were placed by the donors of the Buddha statues. The parapet wall round the Viharaya was build by the dayakas and well wishers followed by chanting of Seth Pirith by the Maha Sangha.
