President visits Nepal

President Mahinda Rajapaksa was on a State visit to Nepal to discuss a host of issues of bilateral concern including trade, agriculture and tourism. The high profile delegation comprising several Ministers and First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa was accorded a rousing welcome on their arrival in Kathmandu. The Sri Lankan President is considered the first foreign Head of State to visit Nepal in eight years.

Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal called on President Rajapaksa.	President Rajapaksa visiting the SAARC Secretariat. SAARC Secretary General Dr. Sheel Kant Sharma was also present.
