Why didn’t UNP condemn Visuamadu attack - Minister
Media Minister Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena said the
UNP as one of the main political parties which ruled the country
from time to time since independence has degenerated to such a low
level that it failed to issue a statement condemning the heinous
crime perpetrated by the LTTE at Visuamadu.

Sri Lanka – Iran political consultations successful
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said yesterday
that they had concluded a highly successful first round in a series
of political consultations with Iran, in accordance with an MOU
signed between the two countries on establishing a Political
