Phoenix brand plastic chairs, the preferred choice at stadiums

Phoenix Industries, the market leader for providing plastic solutions, created industry news by being the first to produce Blow Moulded plastic chairs locally.

Phoenix Industries are now a household name to be reckoned with, living up to the Company’s slogan of Phoenix, ‘The Name for Plastic’.

The Company once again pioneered yet another product hitherto manufactured only in the international market, namely blow Moulded plastic chairs which are specifically designed for stadiums.

“We have already installed 10,000 such chairs at several venues including the R. Premadasa stadium, the Sinhalese Sports Club as well as the CR & FC”, said CEO Phoenix Industries, Hasith Prematillake.

Secretary of the SSC, N. Dias Jayasinghe, said that over 1500 chairs had been installed at their club and they were completely satisfied with the product. “In the past this type of chair had to be imported, but now with Phoenix Industries manufacturing them locally it is much more cost effective whilst being of the same standard and quality as the imported version.”

Jayasinghe went on to say that he would any day recommend the chairs manufactured by Phoenix Industries for quality, durability and attractive design, and most importantly conforming to international standards.

“The Phoenix brand of Blow Moulded chairs have several superior features which include provision for the numbering of seats, a perforation in the seating area in order to prevent the accumulation of water and fast delivery as the chairs are now locally produced.”

Prematillake went on to say that they could produce the chairs in any colour, as well as in a variety of designs.

According to Prematillake, the lead time required for delivering an order would be approximately 3-4 weeks.
