CIM Knowledge Reel on Marketing Communications
The Chartered Institute of Marketing Sri Lanka Region has organized a
programme titled "Marketing Communications: Bridging Theory and
Practice" under the CIM Knowledge Reel series, which will be held on 10
March at Park Premier, Excel World from 4.30pm to 8.00pm. Dialog Telekom
sponsors the programme.
Through this programme, the institute intends to give the students a
practical insight into marketing communications, illustrated by two
leading brands in the country, "Elephant House" and "Ceylinco Life".
The Institute is would have Vice President of John Keells Holdings S.
Srikanth, Joint Managing Director of Triad Advertising, Dilith Jayaweera,
AGM - Marketing of Ceylinco Life Insurance Ltd Samitha Hemechandra, and
Managing Director of Minds FCB, Rohan Rajaratnam, to share their
experiences with the students.
Two speakers have been invited on behalf of each brand; one
representing the company, who will speak of the brand and marketing
communication strategy from the company's point of view.
The Chartered Institute of Marketing Sri Lanka Region has initiated
several programmes, pitched at different levels to cater to the diverse
needs of its stakeholders; namely, Fellows and Members of The Institute,
Chartered Marketers and the CIM Student Members, who represent the
majority of The Institute's membership.
Even though the series was initially opened exclusively for CIM
student members, The Institute has opened it to all marketing students,
widening its scope; enabling non-CIM members to benefit from this unique
opportunity. |
