Finance and State Revenue Minister and Finance and Planning Deputy Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitiya at an exhibition stall at the Deyata Kirula exhibition which opens today at the BMICH. The exhibition on until February 10 will be open to the public from 10.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. Visitors are advised to bring their Identity Cards and avoid bringing bags and baggages. 12 Tigers killed, dozens injured:

Forces destroy 30 Tiger bunkers

Security Forces destroyed 30 LTTE bunkers in Nagarkovil, Muhamalai and Kilali along the Southern and Northern A9 road last morning killing 12 Tigers and injuring dozens.

Defeating terrorism, Govt's sole intention - PM

Prime Minister Ratnasiri Wickramanayaka yesterday told Parliament that the Government's sole intention is to defeat terrorism militarily and bring sustainable peace through a solution provided in accordance with the Constitution.
