Adamjee Lukmanjee receives ISO

Adamjee Lukmanjee & Sons Limited has been awarded the ISO 22000 Food Safety Standard Certification by SGS (Lanka) Ltd, an internationally accredited certification body.

The certification scope covers the production of Coconut Oil, Copra and warehousing of Desiccated Coconut and extends up to the processing of Copra and transportation of same to the factory.

In the factory, storage facilities, state-of-the-art production technology and bottling of N-JOY had been certified as conforming to the ISO 22000 standard requirements.

In order to maintain the Food Safety Culture created through the implementation of this Food Safety Assurance System, the Management of the Company will strive to ensure that the highest standard of food safety is consistently guaranteed in the product offered to the consumers.

The Company anticipates more consumer confidence and a recognition of the products marketed with the intention to increase its market share both locally and internationally.

Adamjee Lukmanjee & Sons, one of the pioneer establishments, established in 1860.

The Company is a well-known exporter of desiccated coconut, Copra and coconut oil and had long established a firm market place in the Middle East, South Asia and Europe. Apart from this core trade of coconut products, the Company is also engaged in other exports like spices and Sri Lankan agri products.

Produced under strict quality measures and above all with the century long experience and expertise of the manufacturers, “N-Joy” holds the highest trust among the consumers for its purity.

“N-Joy” coconut milk powder comes in 50 gms pack to the local market and the distribution is done by Delmege Distributors. The launching brief was held on 05th May, 2007 and a tremendous success was foreseen.
