Paranagamage Dona Dinendra Chathuri of 326/8, Kaluwagewatta, Werahera, Boralesgamuwa is suffering from a complex congenital heart defect. Although she has undergone Surgical palliation in Germany on two previous occasions her condition has worsened again and Doctors at the University Hospital in Cologne, Germany have volunteered to treat her again free of charge after further non invasive investigations.

Chathuri's father P.D. Pathmasiri says the German doctors have decided to perform these investigations at the Cologne University's paediatric cardiology department in November or December depending on her ability to travel to Germany chaperoned by a parent.

He is unable to find the Rs. 450,000 needed for their airtickets and incidental expenses due to their present economic plight. He requests philanthropists and the public to assist his child's cause by sending whatever financial contributions to A/C No. 1120161179 of the Hatton National Bank, Boralesgamuwa Branch.
