Maiden call: MV “DAL Reunion” the 2700 TEU vessel operated by Deutsch Africa Linien, the Hamburg based shipping line made maiden call at Jaya Container Terminal (JCT) of Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) on October 10. To commemorate the occasion, plaques were exchanged between Captain of the V. Golubev and Director (Operations) of SLPA U. Bopitiya. DAL offers in Sri Lanka, a direct main line service from Colombo to Ports of Djibouti, Jeddha, Damietta, La Spezia, Tilbury, Hamburg, Rotterdam and Le Harve. With the introduction of this service, DAL customers will have the assurance of precise and timely arrival of their cargoes at destination ports.
