Crocodile kills man in Nilwala Ganga

MATARA: A father of two who went for a dip to the Nilwala Ganga was killed by a crocodile.

Kulasena Senaweera, 43, of Akuressa was dragged away by the crocodile and then killed, police said.

Reports of an enormous crocodile has brought fear and anxiety among the people using the Nilwala ganga for bathing and washing clothes.

People have frequently seen this crocodile basking in the sunlight on a rock.
