Hasantha, Gayan for Twenty/20 World Cup
The national selectors yesterday recalled top all
rounders Hasantha Fernando and Gayan Wijekoon into their fifteen
member strong squad that will compete in the inaugural International
Cricket Council (ICC) Twenty/20 cricket World Cup tournament to be
worked off from September 11 to 24 in South Africa.

outclassed top seed Nilupul Gunasekara in the under-18 girls singles
final at the Sri Lanka Junior National Tennis Championships

Rotherham Circuit Meet 2007 at Katukurunda
Sri Lanka Air Force will organise the Rotherham
Circuit Meet scheduled for Sunday August 12 at Katukurunda circuit.
Air Marshal Roshan Gunatilleke speaking at a press briefing held at
Air Force headquarters auditorium, said that Sri Lanka Air Force
organised motor racing at Katunayake from early seventies and later
had to switch to Katukurunda as Katunayake became a busy airport.
Racing at Katukurunda continued till 2001.
