Dhanapala joins Dialog Board

Jayantha Dhanap -ala has joined Dialog's Board of Directors as an Independent Director.

The company stated that the invitation extended by the Chairman of Dialog Telekom Radzi Mansor has been accepted by Dhanapala.

Dhanapala was the United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Disarmament Affairs from 1998 to 2003. Prior to that he was Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Sri Lanka to the United Nations in Geneva (1984-87) and Ambassador to the USA (1994-97). Dhanapala is currently Chairman of the UN University Council and is on the Governing Board of the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI).
