Any group free to leave or join Govt - President
President Mahinda Rajapaksa declared yesterday
that any party or individual was free to leave or join the
Government. In a special interview with our sister newspaper
Dinamina, President Rajapaksa stressed that he was not willing to
work according to the agendas of various groups.

UNP giving breathing space to LTTE - Dinesh

trying to reverse the bold steps taken by the Government to
safeguard the country's independence and give breathing space to the
LTTE which has faced defeat at the hands of the Security Forces,
said Urban Development and Sacred Area Development Minister and MEP
Leader Diensh Gunawardena.
