All Colombo schools closed on April 30
COLOMBO: All schools within Colombo Municipality area will be closed
on Monday, April 30, in view of the May Day celebrations due on this
date.
The May Day celebrations have been brought forward to April 30, as
Vesak Poya falls on May 1, this year, states a press release issued by
the Education Ministry.
Colombo will be the venue of May Day Celebrations on April 30, the
release added.
