Thunder storms threaten to disrupt games in Guyana

Sudden thunderstorms broke out here in Guyana and threatens to disrupt the Super Eight series here at the Providence Stadium. The teams contest the Super Eight here and endeavouring to move on are Sri Lanka, Australia, South Africa, England, West Indies, Ireland, New Zealand and Bangladesh. According to those in the know here, it does not rain at this time of the year and they described it as freak weather.
