CRICKET: Chilaw Marians SC built up a massive first innings lead of 137 runs over Sri Lanka Army SC on the opening day of their SLC Premier League Promotion and Relegation tournament match which commenced at Welisara yesterday.

Lassana Dias picked up four wickets for 86 runs to help Baduraliya CC restrict Saracens SC for 243 runs in their first innings on the opening day of their SLC Premier League Promotion and Relegation Group tournament fixture which began at the Colombo University grounds, yesterday.

Panadura pile up 351

Panadura SC put up a fine batting performance to rattle up a huge 351 runs in their first innings on the opening day of their SLC Premier League Promotion and Relegation tournament match against Lankan CC which began at Panadura yesterday.
