Baghavan Sri Ramakrishna 172nd birth anniversary

KALUWANCHIKUDY: The 172nd birth anniversary of Baghavan Sri
Ramakrishna is to be celebrated in a pious and religious fervour by the
Batticaloa branch of the Ramakrishna Mission inculcating the noble theme
for peace happiness and for the well being of the entire humanity.
Swami Ajarathmananda the head of R.K.M. Batticloa branch has
finalised elaborate arrangements to conduct this celebration on Sunday
25th February.
The highlight of this celebration will be the launching of massive
processions carrying the portraits of the triple sacred saints Sri
Ramakrishna. Holy Mother SriSardhadevi, and Swami Vivekananda in
decorated chariots on Sunday morning.
The procession of these portraits will commence at three different
points and proceed enroute the main highways and culminate at the Swami
Vipulananda Memorial Hall coming from three directions.
Large crowed of devotees are expected to parade this procession
chanting the holy verses of these saints and singing devotional songs.
On the same evening a public meeting is also arranged at the
Vipulananda Memorial Hall which will be presided by Swami Aathmagnananda
head of the Ramakrishna Mission Colombo. |
