The exhibition covers a range of products from home decor to fabric, textile, Information Technology, food and ingredients, sports goods, surgical and pharmacy, gems and jewellery, industrial goods, auto and auto parts, services sector and leather goods.

Expo Pakistan 2007 is a thoroughfare to the true commercial and cultural diversity of Pakistani products and services.

Last year, Pakistan achieved just about $ 16.5 billion of exports and looks to provide opportunities to sellers and buyers to achieve an increase of about 12% in the current year.

Expo Pakistan is also a great venue for forging new alliances and business ventures. Geo-commercially Pakistan has emerged as an international hub for trade and commerce, it august well for structuring business relationships and investment opportunities.

Pakistan’s economy has delivered yet another year of solid economic growth in 2005-06 in the midst of an extra-ordinary surge in oil prices and the devastating earthquake of October 8, 2005.

With economic growth at 6.6 percent in 2005-06, Pakistan’s economy has grown at an average rate of almost 7.0 percent per annum during the last four years is underpinned by dynamism in industry, agriculture and services, and the emergence of a new investment cycle with investment rate matching new height at 20.0 percent of the GDP.

The key drivers of this year’s growth have been the service sectors and industry.

Therefore, the pre-requisites for sustained economic growth appear to have gained a firm footing during the last four years.
