Dialog completes Rs. 15 b investment pledge ahead of schedule
BoI accolades for largest investment implemented
in record time:
Dialog Telekom, announced that it has completed
its Rs. 15 Billion investment pledge to the BoI one year ahead of
schedule. The landmark agreement signed between Dialog Telekom and
the BoI in May 2006 is the single largest Telco investment in Sri
Lanka to date.

Leisure industry placed fourth largest money-spinner
TOURISM industry was placed as the fourth
largest foreign exchange earner to the country despite the industry
facing a few problems. The total earnings from January to September
2006 stood at US $ 349.8 million behind textiles and garment
earnings, foreign workers remittance and tea export revenue.
