Plea to release Prof. Raveendranath

OLUVIL: Council of the Eastern University unanimously appealed to the parties concerned to release Prof. Raveendranath on humanitarian grounds for creating a favourable environment for the smooth functioning of the University.

It is pertinent that Prof. Raveendranath has a record of 25 years of unblemished service at the Eastern University and greatly contributed to its academic and development activities.

The Council of the Eastern University is very much concerned of the incidents of this nature which has taken place in the case of previous Vice Chancellors and other academics several times in the history of the University.
