GOVINNA - DAYA  (Retired District Judge and the Director, People's Bank), passed away on the 30th September 2006. Remains lie at his residence till the 03rd October 10 a.m. The body will then be taken to Jayaratne Funeral Parlour where it lies from 12 noon to 4th October 2 p.m. Cremation will take place at Borella Kanatte on the same day at 4 p.m.  

JAMES - CUTHBERT  son of the late Mr & Mrs D. James, brother of the late Ms Chrystalene James, Jimmy Vanderkoen and of Kamala Arasaratnam, brother-in-law of Rajadurai Arasaratnam, passed away in the UK on 5th September. A Memorial Mass will be  held on Tuesday 3rd October at All Saints' Church, Borella at 4 p.m. followed by interment of the Ashes at RC Section General Cemetery Kanatte at 5 p.m.
