Hanjin feeder calls JCT
HANJIN commenced a new feeder service CIX - Ceylon-India Express on
20.07.2005 with the first vessel M.V. Hanjin Busan with a capacity of
1150 TEUs calling JCT. This follows its partner COSCO's maiden call on
July 13, 2005.

The port rotation of this fixed day weekly feeder is Colombo, Bandar
Abbas, Karachchi and Nhavasheva.

The Chairman addressing the gathering stated that SLPA's operations
team is striving to improve its services and obviously major steps are
now being taken to facilitate and encourage feeder services calling
Colombo.
Hanjin's representative expressed that SLPA's increased productivity
levels and efficient operations have enabled them to increase their
volumes handled at JCT. |
