A recent ILO study on `Implementing Codes of Conduct' based on interviews with managers, activists, government officials factory workers in several countries including Sri Lanka has revealed that the sports footwear sector, where linkages are very tight between producers and multinational brands, has seen more success than the apparel and retail sectors.
