Vehicles found after tsunami disaster

The Police Disaster Management Team Control Centre announced that fifty-four vehicles had been collected by several police stations in the country following the tsunami.

All these vehicles are now being parked at Kathankudi, Ambalangoda, Galle, Habaraduwa, Payagala, Weligama, Panadura South, Wadduwa, Tissamaharama. Hikkaduwa, Ahangama and Colombo South police stations.

Owners or their close relatives could remove these vehicles after producing their identity, The Police Disaster Management Team Control Centre DIG Jayantha Wickremaratne said.
