Denzil de Silva loved mother of Nirmali and Hemal (Skills Development Fund Ltd), Anil (Glaxo Smithkline Ltd) and Corinne, Minoli and Srian (Multi Power), affectionate grandmother of Dimantha and Tania, Shaneli and Prasanna, Chamindra and Sulakshana, Ayeshini, Johann, Manique and Mark, dear great grandmother of Jonathan and Yechelle, Seraya, Shenella and Cameron. Devoted sister of the late Estelle and Paul and of Chloe, Priscilla and Myra, passed away on 28th December and was laid to rest according to her wishes on 29th December. No.23, Siripura Housing Scheme, Talawatugoda. 

DE ZOYSA - CYRIL Beloved husband of Swinitha, loving father of Niranjan and Manoj, father-in-law of Missara and Thanuja, loving grandfather of Abhishek, brother of Hector, Ellen, Richard, Kamala and Reggie, died under tragic circumstances. Cremation at Galkissa Cemetery on Friday 31st at 5.00 p.m. Cortege leaves residence at 4.00 p.m. 18, M.J.C. Fernando Mawatha, Idama, Moratuwa.

Beloved beautiful darling wife of Bernard (Australia), sweetest one and only darling mamma of Asha (Hong Kong), adored eldest daughter of the late Michael and Josephine De Rose, much loved sister of Lilian (France), Imel and Charmaine (U.K.), dearest daughter-in-law of the late Santiago Michael and the late Theresamal Balachandra, dearest sister-in-law of Patrick & Celine, late Timothy & Jesmine, Florence & the late Beschi Britto, Gerard (France) and Stephen (U.K.), lovingly missed by nieces, nephews, grandchildren and rest of the family, friends and students in Brunei, Australia and Sri Lanka. An exceptional lady. Our lives will never be the same. Taken from us suddenly under devastating circumstances on 26 December 2004. Remains lie at Jayaratne Funeral Parlour. Funeral Service will take place on 31 December 2004 at 10.00 am at All Saints Church, Borella, and thereafter burial at the General Cemetery, Borella (Roman Catholic Section).
