Budget second reading passed

The second reading of the UPFA Government's maiden budget was passed in Parliament on Saturday by a majority of 34 votes with 126 votes for and 92 against. The JHU, CWC and EPDP and the SLMC rebel MPs voted with the government while the UNP and TNA voted against.
