Minihydro tariff cut hits national grid By Lionel Yodhasinghe Prospective investors in the mini hydro power sector would deviate to
other lucrative ventures while the existing hydro generating Companies
would withdraw gradually following the Ceylon Electricity Board(CEB)'s
decision to slash the power purchasing rate by 20 percent from Rs.5.85 per
unit to Rs.4.95 last March, Grid Connected Small Hydro Power Developers'
