John Keells Office Automation (JKOA) received the Bronze Award for Outstanding Performance and Best Distributorship by Toshiba Singapore at the recently concluded annual Toshiba Distributor Kick Off Meeting in Malaysia.

Director IT Sector Head of John Keells Holdings Sujiva Dewaraja, JKOA's Director/General Manager Chandima Perera, and Head of Sales and Marketing Malik Edwin (who was adjudged Best Marketer), and JKOA's Sales Manager Channels Neville Samaranayake were present.

"This award is based on performance, strategy, submission deadlines and year-on-year growth and we are indeed proud to be the recipients of this award, particularly in the context of having to compete against countries such as South Africa as well as all of the Asian and South East Asian countries", said Chandima Perera. The Company posted a 44% sales growth for the financial year ending 2003 and has been the recipient of several international awards in the past.
