Help save this young life
P. Babu Vaythiyanathan is a 25-year old ex-Thomian (S. Thomas' Mt. Lavinia) who was recently diagnosed for Hodgkins Lymphoma (A cancer in the lymph nodal regions) about one year ago. He underwent treatment at the Maharagama Cancer Institute under Dr. Jayantha Balawardane but has not responded to frontline treatment, and has been recommended immediate high dose chemotherapy followed by bone marrow transplant.
This procedure which needs to be carried out in India, is estimated to cost approximately Rs. 2.5 Million (US$ 25,000). This is an urgent appeal from young Babu's family to those kindhearted philanthropists to save his life as they have used all available resources and are presently helpless. Save little Sasidu's life
One-year-old W. H. Sasidu Dilshan of 114/C, Webada (South) Webada is suffering from a heart disease and Dr. K. Prasad, Consultant Cardiac Surgeon, Apollo Hospital has recommended an urgent heart surgery to save his life.
This surgery is estimated to cost approximately Rs. 240,000.
Sasidu's family is facing difficulties in raising the funds required for the surgery.
His father who is the breadwinner in the family is seeking public support to facilitate this operation.
