ABEYAGUNAWARDENE - ALICE - Wife of late D.S. Abeyagunawardene, mother of Iranganie, Swarna, Kalyani, Metha, Nihal, Chandana (C.P.), mother-in-law of P.P. Gunawardene, Upali Mahanama, late Lt. Col. Eric De Silva and of Damayanthie, Ruvini and Subashini, expired on 3rd August. The last rites were performed according to her wishes and the Cremation took place at the Mount Lavinia Cemetery on 4th August, 2004. No. 6, Fernando Place, off Waidya Road, Dehiwala.

DHARMADASA - H.G. Retired Deputy Principal, Ananda College, Colombo. Beloved husband of Wimala (retired teacher Susamayawardena, Borella), much loved father of Pulajith (SLT), Samanmalee (Cey-Nor), Subhash (Dharma Group), father-in-law of Chandrani (Royal Institute), Ananda (Fisheries), Shirani (Librarian), beloved grandfather of Dushyanthi, Ruwangi, Sakda, Sakna & Yasara, expired. Remains will lie at 212/27, Nelum Place, Rajagiriya. Cremation will be on Saturday August 08th at 5 p.m. General Cemetery Borella. Cortege leaves residence at 4.30 p.m.

PERERA - MAELGE LLOYD - Justice of Peace. Loving husband of Rose, father of Charmarie (Sri Lanka Tourist Board - UK), Yamuna, Buddhika (Golden Key Software Solutions), Chandrika (Jetwing Eco Holidays), father-in-law of Kenneth Jayasinghe & Dinesh Saluwadana & grandfather of Charya, Dilan & Savi, expired. Cortege leaves residence at 3.00 p.m. on Saturday 07th August for Cremation at Suwarapola Cemetery. 32, Blue Lotus Road, Suwarapola, Piliyandala.

ADITHYA - KANNANGARA (KAPI). Son of the late Mr and Mrs Kannangara, husband of Monica, brother of Kirthi, died in France on 18th July and was Cremated on 22nd July. 28, Rue Saussure 94000, Creteil Paris, France. 

PELPOLA - L. PREMARATNE (Road Construction & Development Company). Beloved husband of Nalini Piyadigama, loving father of Chaapa (Australia), Chaam, father-in-law of Nalika (Australia), expired. Cortege leaves residence 'Jaya Mawatha', Malkaduwawa, Kurunegala on Saturday 7th August 2004 at 5.00 p.m. for Cremation at Public Cemetery, Malkaduwawa, Kurunegala. 

WICKRAMASURIYA - WALWIN (Rtd. Staff University of Peradeniya). Beloved husband of Shanthie, loving father of Angelo, Tania and late Prasanna, father-in-law of late Lalith, loving son of late Muhandiram and Mrs Ambrose Wickramasuriya and grandfather of Yashan and Kushan, brother of late Janet, Dunstan and of Gerard, Calistus, Christobel, late Denis, Ian and of Vivien, expired. Cortege leaves A.F. Raymond's Funeral Parlour at 9.30 a.m. on Saturday 7th August for Service at St. Mary's Church, Mattakkuliya, followed by Burial at Madampitiya Cemetery (Roman Catholic Section).

Cortege leaves residence 56, Mayura Place, Wellawatte, at 5 pm and cremation at Kanatta Cemetery Borella at 6.30 pm on 6th August.
