Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) Deputy Leader N.M. Shaheid in a letter
to SLMC leader Rauff Hakeem has stated that the 'purported amended
electoral agreement' between the United National Party (UNP) and the SLMC
as submitted in the Supreme Court in the Expulsion case bearing No.2/2004
was tantamount to a total betrayal of the Muslim community and an absolute
