SL Peace Secretariat Head meets with LTTE

Sri Lanka Peace Secretariat Head Jayantha Danapala,the top official handling the Peace process met with the LTTE's S. Puleedevan yesterday in the Wanni.

This is the first highest level of meeting between the two sides after the UPFA Government assumed office, following the April elections.

Norway's Deputy Foreign Minister Vidar Helgesen is expected next week to hold talks with both sides.
